In 2023 STLCC Meramec plans to tear down several buildings to make new renovated buildings in their place. Our class was tasked to come up with potential designs for the construction wall. I wanted to go with something simpler to make it clear what the design was trying to represent. At first, I wanted to use a kind of simple figure style but eventually, I decided to go with symbols for most of STLCC’s Meramec programs.

I went into Adobe  Illustrator and thought of what each of these programs could be represented by. Some were easy like Accounting and Photography, while others like the
Animal Welfare Program and Interior Design took several iterations to refine. And as a last thing, I also collabed with another student, Shelby Bouren to potentially if the design was picked add a green wall (which is basically a wall with living plants) to the project.
